PMB Aerospace Corporation or PMBAC researches, designs, manufactures, operates, and maintains aerospace propulsion systems and associated propellants.
Our solid propulsion technology is considered a Transformational Technology due to its capability to improve performance of launch industry safety, tailorability to mission specific requirements, improved launch vehicle performance, and potential for significant reductions in cost of launch operations. Cost reductions are due to cost decreases in launch vehicles, recurrent operational costs and total life-cycle costs.
Our core technology and manufacturing methods apply to diverse industry sectors, including, transportation, energy production and storage, microelectronics and molecular electronics, aerogel manufacturing, medicinal applications such as therapeutic and targeted drug delivery, and time-release agriculture fertilizer.
The propulsion technology of PMBAC is a Green technology, unlike the current solid propellant technologies in the marketplace. The Supercritical Fluids based propellant manufacturing and materials processing technology is also considered a Green processing technology. It produces essentially no hazardous waste byproducts, and therefore no environmental damage in its applications. As the number of space launches increase significantly, it is critical that the new launch technologies be as Green as possible to reduce, or even eliminate, environmental damage from the production of propellants or in the production of polluting air emissions from combustion of propellants during rocket launches.
The PMBAC solid propulsion technology won 2 prestigious Aerospace
Industry awards for “Most Innovative Technology” and “Best Paper” at the 2010 NSBE Aerospace Systems Conference, held in Los Angeles, CA.
In cooperation with University of South Florida and Industry Partners, PMBAC’s focus is the development of safer, efficient, environmentally friendly encapsulated energetic particle fuel products for the Aviation, Aerospace and General Transportation Industries.
